How Our Network Works
Request an estimate first

Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent tree provider in our network. That person runs a local tree business and will do the work if you hire them.
Skillcondition Tree Service does not send its own crews. We only make the introduction.
What Happens First
Here is the usual order of events:
1. Request: You describe the tree, where it is and what you need. 2. Contact: A provider reaches out to ask a few questions. 3. Estimate: The provider looks at the job, often on site, and gives you a written quote. 4. Decision: You compare and choose, or you say no. Both are fine.
Times vary by provider and by season. After a storm, many providers are busy, so availability can change. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What to Ask a Provider
Keep this short list handy:
- Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
- Will you remove the wood, brush and debris, or leave it?
- Is stump grinding included, or priced separately?
- Do you carry liability and workers' compensation insurance? Can I see proof?
- Do I need a permit, and who handles it?
- How will you protect my lawn, roof, fence and utility lines?
- How long will the job take, and what could change the price?
Typical U.S. costs range widely by tree size, access and risk, so get a written quote before you agree.
You Are in Control
An estimate is not a contract. You can ask for a second quote, take time to think or walk away. A good provider will answer questions without rushing you.
If a tree is touching power lines, stay back and contact the utility first.
